Textiled Canvas Rugs

We have found a way to fuse home decor fabric with canvas to create a durable, long-lasting canvas rug. These "textiled canvas rugs" have all of the same benefits of our hand-painted canvas rugs. They are stain and water resistant, durable and family-friendly.

To create these rugs, we adhere cotton fabric to heavy weight canvas; this results in a very stong bond. Textiled canvas rugs are then finished using the same process that we use for our hand-painted canvas rugs.

Textiled canvas rugs allow homeowners and interior designers unlimited design opportunities! Just imagine being able to take a favorite fabric and make it into a long-lasting, extremely durable piece of usuable floor art.

We have found that 100% cotton fabric works best for these rugs. The black and white fabric shown here was purchased at a local fabric store in their home decor section. If you have fabric other than cotton, we can create a sample piece for you to see if the fabric is workable. There are some great fabric selections on-line (retro, contemporary, modern, etc.). The size of a textiled rug is limited by the size of the fabric (4' x 6' is the largest size of textiled rug we can make- using 54" home decor fabric).

There will be a $35 deduction from the total cost of your rug if you supply your own fabric. If you do not have your own fabric, we will be more than happy to help you find the fabric that will work for you through a consultaiton.
