Custom Orders

Custom Order Process:

 

In order to have a custom rug designed, we will need some information from you. Here are some ideas of what to send or e-mail to us (you can use the Contact Us form or the Order Form):

pictures of your roompaint samples (We prefer to use Benjamin Moore paint.  If you choose to use Benjamin Moore Paint, please submit the paint color names and numbers. Tell us your needs:

 

Why would you like a canvas rug? Do you want your rug to make a statement? Then we can go with a bold approach and use bright colors or strong design elements. Or, do you just want a colorful unique addition to your home? Do you have pets that keep ruining your rugs? We might add more polyacrylic finisher to make them extra durable. Each rug we make is personal for us. We will work hard to make sure that you are happy with your rug for years to come.

 

If you live in either Whatcom or Skagit Counties (Washington State) we can meet you in person, through an in-home consultation, to discuss your rug. Or, we can have a meeting over coffee. We can discuss your colors, design ideas and overall vision for your rug.

 

After we have settled on color and design, we can determine the size of your rug. We will then show you a drawing of your proposed rug. At this point, we will give you a price estimate, and you will then need to pay

  at least a 50% deposit (of the total cost of your rug). It is at this point that work will begin on your rug.

Typically, a rug will take about three weeks to finish (plus time for shipping). Once your rug is complete and paid in full, we will send it off to you-- as quickly as possible.
